About farm drainage
Southland gets its share of rain, and a paddock or yard that holds water is a paddock you can't use. We put in new drainage designed for the way water actually moves on your place: novaflow laid to fall, large water catchments where the runoff gathers, proper gravel around the pipe so it drains fast, and outlets that clear.
A lot of our farm drainage work starts as a blockage call. We clear what's there, track the existing lines, and then add the drainage that was missing. On a recent job that meant unblocking the old drains, finding a few more that were unaccounted for, then adding more novaflow and a large catchment with drainage gravel so the excess runoff disappears down the drain instead of sitting on the surface.

How we do it
We walk the site with you, work out where the water is coming from and where it needs to end up, and plan the run from there. Trenches go in with the mini digger, novaflow is laid to fall and bedded in drainage gravel, catchments are sized for the runoff, and everything is backfilled and left tidy. We check it's flowing before we leave.
