About drain tracking
Half the battle with old drainage is knowing where it actually goes. Farms across Southland are full of tile drains and pipes that were put in decades ago, never mapped, and have been built over since. Drain tracking lets us follow a line from the surface, find where it's broken, blocked or was never connected, and mark it so the fix goes in the right place.
It also turns up the drains nobody knew about. On a recent job we cleared the existing lines, then tracked and found several more that weren't accounted for, which is why the water was still building up. Knowing what's really under the ground saves digging up half a paddock to find one broken pipe.

How we do it
We locate the line, follow it along its length and pinpoint where the problem is. Once we know exactly where to dig, the mini digger opens up just that section for a repair or reconnection. If it turns out the whole run is past saving, we'll tell you straight and quote a replacement.

We jet, track and follow the line until we've found the actual problem, whether it's a blockage, a broken section, or a drain that was never connected in the first place.
Fixed, and flowing
Blockage cleared, repairs made or new drainage put in, then we check it's running before we pack up. If we spot something that'll cause you grief later, we'll tell you.
