Drain Hunters Ltd is a locally owned drainage business based at Winton in central Southland. The name says what we do: when water is going where it shouldn't, we track down the cause, whether that's a blocked culvert, a collapsed tile drain, a pipe nobody knew was there, or a paddock that just needs proper drainage put in.
The gear is set up for Southland conditions. A high pressure water jetter on the truck for clearing blockages, drain tracking equipment for finding and following existing lines, and a mini digger that fits through a standard gate for trenching, novaflow installs, water catchments and general site work. The digger is also available for wet or dry hire if you'd rather run it yourself.
